2023 - 2024 Winter Season

Season Information



The winter/club volleyball season begins with tryouts in late October and mid-November.  Northern Impact will begin team practices in late November with competition starting in either late December or early January and running through the month of April and possibly into May.  Detailed schedule information will be posted when it becomes available.


  • Tryout required
  • Teams are fielded based on skill-level and positional needs
  • Some travel is required, but nothing beyond border states and most teams will travel overnight less than three times per season.  Rochester, St. Cloud, Mankato or Duluth are common destinations.
  • Season starts in November, ends late April or early May


  • Tryouts for team placement typically, there are no cuts
  • Lower cost team experience with travel to areas like Duluth or Rochester once or twice per season.
  • Beginner to experienced players welcome
  • Teams formed based on age, experience and positional needs
  • Ideal for multi-sport athletes
  • Season starts in November, ends in late April or early May.



  • 2 Practices/week for 2 hours each
  • Some 12U teams may only practice 90 minutes.
  • We attempt to avoid Wednesday night practices for players 14U and younger.
  • Practices will start the week of Nov 27th


  • Two jerseys 
  • Backpack
  • Warmup jacket or hitting shirt
  • Two practice t-shirts 
  • Additional items may be added as package price is negotiated with our suppliers.


Northern Impact is again working with Dynamic Fundraising to provide the opportunity to fundraise a significant amount of money that can be used for club fees and travel.  There is no additional cost to participants and all funds raised through the sale of our promotional cards is kept by the seller.  Participation in this fundraiser may yield in excess of $500 per player.


Our teams will play a variety of competitive events involving single day play dates, single day tournaments and multi-day tournaments.  The number varies by team and will typically involve 9-12 days of competition over the course of the season.


  • Budgeting is in-process (Final Fees will be published before October 1, 2023.)
  • 12 and under teams will pay less than $1600
  • 13U and older will pay less than $2500
